Charlie is a shy, reserved and socially awkward cop who’s struggling to fi t in at the police station, and doing menial work as a result. Her mood disorder medication doesn’t help either, leaving her a spectator in her own life. Her mother died when she was a child and she’s lived with her grandfather ever since, but he refuses to tell her about her family – and the fact that she’s related to a certain worldfamous detective… Sherlock Holmes! Then, one day, Charlie is hit by a car, and everything clicks. This once quite dull and self-conscious woman is suddenly bubbling with energy and raring to go. For the first time, Charlie begins to live life to the full and it turns out she is a brilliant cop too, thanks to her exceptional investigative smarts and empathy. However, on the fl ipside, this can make her somewhat unpredictable. When she meets Samy, the man who becomes her very own Watson, at last Charlie can fulfi ll her destiny as a successful cop, a woman, and… a Holmes!
